All of them were purchased in a single eBay auction conducted by the Bay Area Electric Railway Association (BAERA) on 28 May 2023. The photographer's name, the locomotive's road number, the date, and the location are cited when available.

Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9693 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9693 was constructed as an EH-15 in April of 1949, later regeared and reclassified as an EF-15A, and retired in July of 1966 after just 17 years of revenue service. Partially visible at the right is the 7th Street Bridge. The smokestack in the distance marks the location of the PRR Passenger Car Shop's powerplant at 4th Street.

In this context, they're about to cross over from Track 3 to Track 1 on their way up the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Pittsburgh. All things being equal, these two locomotives will be uncoupled at Gallitzin and will return to East Altoona for their next assignments.

In this context, they've crossed over from Track 3 to Track 1, and will soon pass SLOPE Tower on their way up the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve to Pittsburgh. Partially visible at the far right is ALTO Tower. In the foreground are the lead tracks to the Hollidaysburg Branch line. By the looks of it, this signal bridge also serves as a pedestrian overpass!

It's just descended the Allegheny Mountains via the Horseshoe Curve, and is about to pass ALTO Tower on its way into Altoona's Eastbound Receiving Yard. Note the Headend Brakeman riding atop the eighth car of the train!

Both are BP-60's built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works as BP-60's rated at 3,000 horsepower each, but later regeared and classified as BH-50's rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #5814 was constructed in September of 1947 and retired in April of 1962 after just 15 years of revenue service.
