| A CN through freight approaches the intersection of N. Appleton St. and W. North St./W. Packard St. as it heads northeast via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI, on 17 Oct. '20. It is hard to believe that there used to be seven tracks here, only the main line remains. The C&NW freight house used to stand on the other side of the train. A team track remained here for quite a few years after the freight house and yard were removed. |
