Newark. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Newark, New Jersey, on 29 August 1953. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4713 and #4774. Both are P-5A (2-C-2) electrics rated at 3,750 HP each. #4713 was built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in October of 1932 and retired in November of 1962, while #4774 was built by General Electric in December of 1932 and retired in December of 1961.
