BM 4-8-2 #4113 - Boston & Maine  Contributor's Pick!       
Another example of the "Mountain" type locomotives built by Baldwin in 1941 for the Boston & Maine. Each carried a name chosen by a pulbic contest. "Black Arrow" was the winner for #4113. Specifics - class R-1, 73" drivers, 240 psi boiler pressure, 28"x31" cylinders, engine weight of 416,100 lb, tractive effort of 67,918 lb. No date or location given. The photo came from the Cornwell-Martin collection
