Interesting steeplecab with a long history. This steeplcab was buil by Baldwin in October of 1920 (serial #53785) for the Youngstown & Ohio River 7 before being purchased by the Omaha, Lincoln & Beatrice Rwy. It lasted on the shortline until being sold to the Cornwall Electric Street Ry in 1950 as Cornwall Electric #11. The steeplecab somehow eventually found its way to the Ohio Rwy Museum in 1972 where it is preserved. R.L. Rumboltz photo |
