Louis Brzuchalski General Re: CERA 1201, This same locomotive was in Toledo, Ohio, during laaater 2001, thru about may, 2002, at the former NYC CentralUnion Station, undergoing some repairs. At the time I saw it, the reporting marks were TDIX 1201` and I could see "CENTRAL" painted out. Also, frame was stamped 4150-2, and further tracing lineage, tracked it down to ec WABASH 373, a SW-9, which was built in 1953, serial 17581. Could this be the same locomotive? Personel repairing locomotive at that time told me when I mentioned it as former WABASH, that some one did a good research job. Do not know where locomotive is now, but after repair work was done, was supposed to be leased to a outfit at Huron, Ohio, possibly the Pillsbury Mill. Correct me if I am wrong. Thanks! 3/5/2005 1:45:12 PM
