| These pilings are a steel casement which they fill with rebar and concrete. I guess the steel casement stays in place. I don't know how they would get it off. Piers seemed to be placed at about 150 ft increments. The old bridge was about 50 ft spans. I'm sure I'll be proven wrong on this by the time the project is done but that's how it appears now. |
