ARB. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Altoona, Pennsylvania, in June of 1959. Shown here (R to L) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9803 and two more units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,500 horsepower each. #9803 is an EF-15A constructed in March of 1951. In this context, this A-B-A set is about to pass under the 8th Street Bridge in Juniata, and is heading to Conway and points West with a merchandise freight train. Partially visible in the distance are the 17th Street Bridge and the East Altoona Coaling Tipple.
