| Hopelessly late, the Empire Builder heads west through the Columbia River Gorge. If Amtrak 27 had been on time, this set of equipment would be parked in Portland Union Station, awaiting a departure eastbound as Amtrak 28 that would be just minutes away. Melonas siding was added by BNSF a few years ago. |
