| TRP magazine runs a sporadic feature called "Close But No Cigar," which is a photo or two of a train where some element was flubbed in some way. This one is a nice shot of a southbound grain train, but with a cell tower right behind the train, detracting from what would otherwise be a good shot of a train with a crossbuck in late day sun at a rural crossing. We rely on our phones so seriously these days, but sometimes the required infrastructure can be intruding. So it goes. |
