UP 7616
Union Pacific 7616 and its cohorts idle in the engine terminal at UPs Tucson Yard. 7616 was built in the mid 2000s as a C45ACCTE. C45ACCTE is Union Pacifics classification of their ES44AC locomotives. ES44AC stands for Evolution Series 4400 Horsepower Alternating Current. UPs designations stands for C Trucks, 4400 Horsepower, Alternating Current, Controlled Tractive Effort. 45 is used instead of 44 to indicate the horsepower to avoid confusion with UPs AC4400CWs, which are classified C44ACCTE. Hiding behind 7616 and the crew shed is SD70ACe 8390.
