Hagerstown. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Richard R. Wallin that was taken near Hagerstown, Maryland, c. 1957. Show here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engine #9625 and two more "AF" Class units whose road numbers are not recorded. All were built by the American Locomotive Company. #9626 was constructed in November of 1951 and retired in January of 1967 after just 16 years of revenue service. The number of the N-6B cabin car at the left is not recorded. ("PrrFan18n") |
