PRR 2414, AF-25, c. 1963         
Oil Power. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #2414, an AF-25 built by the American Locomotive Company in October of 1962 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. Partially visible at the left is PRR engine #7099, an EFS-17M constructed by GM-EMD in November of 1956 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. And partially visible at the right is PRR engine #2214, an EF-22 built by GM-EMD in March of 1963 and rated at 2,250 horsepower. Note the hawk, circling in the sky, searchin' for snacks! The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded.
