| Here is a rare original photo of Gulf, Mobile & Northern 2-8-2 Mikado #107 built by Baldwin in 1912. Specs - serial #38417, class 101, 57" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 22x28" cylinders, engine weight of 205,800 lb, tractive effort of 37,387 lb. The loco lasted, along with its remaining sisters that weren't sold off, until being scrapped by 1948. No date was given so an approximate one was used. H. C. Bullock photo |
