| These locomotives contain an MTU 20V4000 V20 engine rated at 3,621 horsepower with a Caterpillar C-18 gen-set for HEP. The 822 is one of the original 10 built by Brookville Locomotive in 2012. That order was the first V20 powered passenger power (as opposed to a freight locomotive with a steam generator added) built in the US since the Milwaukee Road FP45s of 1968. |
