TSR 500         
Steam is still King as witnessed by Texas State Railroad's Number 500 gleaming in the East Texas Sun. Built by Baldwin in 1911 for the Santa Fe Railroad as Number 1316, Number 500 is a Pacific Class Locomotive (4-6-2) and is one of four steam locomotives utilized by the State Park.
