PRR "Memorial K-4S Locomotive," c. 1957         
Here is a postal card entitled "Memorial K-4S Locomotive." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "K-4S Locomotive presented to the City of Altoona by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company in memory of the 'Old Iron Horse.' Retired in May of 1955 after 2,490,000 miles. Photo by Sheldon L. Burns." #1361 is a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1918, retired in May of 1956, enshrined at the Horseshoe Curve on 08 June 1957, restored for excursion service during 1987-1988, withdrawn from service and disassembled because of safety concerns, and still not reassembled/restored/resurrected.
