PRR 7165, EFS-17M, 1960
Sweetland. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by David R. Sweetland that was taken in Tipton, Pennsylvania, in November of 1960. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #7165, #7215, and another unit whose road number is not recorded. All are EFS-17M's built by GM-EMD and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #7165 was constructed in October of 1957, while #7215 was built in November of the same year. In this context, they're rockin' 'n' rollin' with a mixed-cargo freight train out of Enola on its way to Conway. ("PrrFan18n")
