Beautiful action shot of Lehigh & Hudson River Rwy 2-8-2 Mikado #83 heading up a long string of cars near Waterloo, New Jersey. Number 83 was built by Baldwin (c/n 49678) to USRA Light design, 26X30 cylinders, 63" drivers, boiler pressure 200 lb., empty weight 292,000 lb., tractive force 54,600 lb., scrapped in December 1950. No date or photographer was listed for the photo so an approximate date was used.
