PRR 3755, K-4S, 1953
MDiv. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Ken Kelsey that was taken in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, on 25 October 1953. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3755, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during April of 1920 and retired in October of 1958 after 38 years of service. It's about to thunder through Tyrone's Passenger Station with an eastbound manifest express train. Who says Pennsy's "Pacifics" never pulled freights? ("Stoneborobranch"; #6 of 56)
