| Sperry Rail Service car 135 was parked behind the Southern Railway’s office building on Spring Street in Atlanta. This was where the railroad kept its business cars, such as executive sleeper 18 GEORGIA and track inspection car 19 BUENA VISTA. SRS 135 had been built by the Electro-Motive Corp. and the St. Louis Car Co. in September 1927 as Seaboard Air Line motorcar 2023 and was acquired by Sperry in July 1945. |
