| Q026 (Jacksonville, FL - Bedford Park, IL) has just crossed the Cumberland River at CP CR Drawbridge. This is the site of the old East Nashville yard. CSX stored cars here for industries located up an down the east bank of the river, with a crew coming out of Kayne Ave. to switch the yard. It was pulled up in the early 2000's and now the property is used for parking for events at nearby Nissan Stadium. This is also where the EF-3 tornado that hit downtown Nashville on March 3 passed over the railroad. |
