Here is the second of two duplicate 35mm color slides via Al Chione that were taken in Lancaster Pennsylvania, during June of 1947. The photographer is not identified. Shown here is General Electric's "Freedom Train." In the lead is engine #1776, a PA-1 built by the American Locomotive Company in August of 1947, rated at 2,000 horsepower, and acquired by the Gulf, Mobile, & Ohio Railroad in 1949.
