Here is page two of a six-page cover article by Alden P. Armagnac entitled "Wreckproofing The Railroads." It was published originally in the July 1951 issue of "Popular Science" magazine, page 51. Depicted here is the front end of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6774, a BP-20 built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in September of 1948 and retired in August of 1964 after just 16 years of revenue service.
