UP DDA40X #6935 - Union Pacific         
This 1971 EMD built DDA40X locomotive heads areound a curve in an unidentified location. With help from Steve Evers (see comment below & a couple YouTube videos, the location is the Williams Loop, a former Western Pacific Feather River line through the Sierras. The loco was retired on May 29, 1985 and traded to EMD in May 1986. It was scrapped by St. Louis Auto Shredding. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo.
