IC 0-6-0 267
In this undated photo Illinois Central 0-6-0 267 was crossing Thalia Street, next to the Werthan Bag Corp. building at 303 Thalia. (Technically, the tracks were on South Front Street, but it doesn’t look like there was a street here!) The railroad’s LEVEE YARD and the Mississippi River were right behind the photographer. IC 267 had been built by Alco’s Schenectady Works in June 1914 as serial number 54753. (photo date unknown)
