For this unremarkable CP freight on an overcast day, I tried out a new location. I'm standing along Grant Street, which runs into the west edge of Doylestown. A high embankment here makes for kind of a neat shot of eastbounds, although this angle wouldn't work on a clear afternoon as it would be into the sun. To the right (west) is the Fur Farm Road crossing, which despite being a narrow country lane has gated signals with L.E.D. lights and an e-bell. Just out of picture to the left (east) is the MP 159.9 defect detector. |
