PRR "Horseshoe Curve," c. 1911         
Here is a postal card entitled "Horseshoe Curve, P.R.R., near Altoona, Pa." No postmark. The artist is not identified. Depicted in the foreground is a Pennsylvania Railroad passenger train powered by two locomotives rounding the Curve on its way down the Allegheny Mountains to Altoona and points East. Also of note (in the center) are several freight cars parked on the siding leading to the Glen White Mines.
