PRR "Pennsylvania 6407," J-1A, 1952         
Here is a postal card entitled "Pennsylvania 6407." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "Class J-1A, a 2-10-4, is down on its knees attacking the westbound slope west of Altoona, Penna. October [12th,] 1952. Horseshoe Curve is just ahead. An example of Pennsy's modern steam power, 6407 was built in the company's nearby Juniata Shops, June 1943. Photo by Robert F. Collins." #6407 was built in Juniata during June of 1943 and retired in August of 1958 after just 15 years of revenue service.
