Passenger Excursion passing under Chenango St and through Prospect Interlocking. When this was a Conrail property, these units used to regularly run here as CR 4020 & 21.

Tom Beckett General A nit pick, if I may. This is actually not an interlocking-as far as I know it never was. I lived in Endicott and Owego from 1988 to 2006, and in all that time there never was a power switch here, it was always a hand throw crossover from 2 to 1, facing point eastbound on track 2, and the switch to what was then the Liberty St Main(CR), which became the Buffalo Runner(D&H/CP), though in practice it was always referred to as the Buffalo Runner. The location here on the Erie/EL was QD, its telegraph symbol, as was referred to as such, though the dispatcher would also tell a train to "open up at Prospect St" for a train to get on the runner. BTW, the bus on the overpass?? I used to drive those :-) 9/21/2020 4:12:28 AM
