Here is page 12 of a 24-page cover article entitled "Horseshoe Curve: 150 Years." It was published originally in the August 2004 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 49. Lower Right-Hand Photo, Partial Caption: "Heading a train of locally-mind coal (note the Cambria & Indiana hopper), Centipede 5828 and mate descend the west side of the Curve [on September 9th,] 1951. Photo by Thomas J. McNamara." Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5828 and another unit whose number is not recorded. Both units were built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works and rated at 2,500 horsepower each. #5828 is a BH-50 "Centipede" built in 1948.
