FWD 2-8-2 #455 - Fort Worth & Denver Rwy  Contributor's Pick!       
Here is an example of the second class (E-4A2) of 2-8-2 Mikados ordered by the Fort Worth & Denver Rwy. Built by Baldwin in 1919, the five new locos were heavy Mikado style oil burners with better tractive effort than the first class of Mikados from 1915. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x32" cylinders, engine weight of 319,500 lb, tractive effort of 62,949 lb. All of this class were scrapped between 1955-60 with #453 wrecked in 1948.
