EBT. Here is an original photo that I took of an East Broad Top Railroad train near Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1961. Shown here is EBT steam engine #14, a 2-8-2 narrow-guage locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1912. In this photo, the locomotive's fireman is continuing the process of filling the locomotive's tender with more water. I regret to report that I never asked him for his name. Visible in the distance are the twin smoke stacks of the EBT shop buildings in Orbisonia. |
