EBT. Here is an original photo that I took of an East Broad Top Railroad locomotive at Colgate Grove, Pennsylvania, on 30 August 1961. Shown here is EBT steam engine #14, a 2-8-2 narrow-gauge locomotive built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during October of 1912. After departing Orbisonia and arriving at Colgate Grove, the locomotive and train crews have stropped the train for a few minutes before turning the train around at the Colgate Grove wye for the return journey to Orbisonia. |
