| CN local approaches N. State St. as it heads southwest via former C&NW rails at Appleton, WI on 25 Sep. '16. Train was pulled by a pair of GTW locomotives, GTW 4911 and GTW 5856. This was a chance encounter, otherwise I would have attempted to obtain a better vantage point to capture this pair of locomotives in their original owner's paint scheme. If you happen to be an aficionado of topnotch liquor, beer, and wine, the parking lot of the historic Flanagan's Stop and Shop is on the opposite side of the train. |
