Headed for the yard  Contributor's Pick!
Sometimes MEBU or BUME would go into East Binghamton. Such is the case today as the train has rolled onto track 5 and is headed for BD. In 15 minutes it will be across the river and in the yard. We also have an unusual unit today, ex BN 6592, an SDP 45. This one is ex GN, built in a late pre-Amtrak time when the railroads were planning to use these diesels for freight when finally relieved of running passenger trains.
