Built by Burnham, Parry, Williams & Co in 1882, this class E-3 American-type locomotive had 57" drivers, generated a modest 140 psi of boiler pressure to deliver to its 17"x24" cylinders. The engine weight was 87,500 lb and it produced a modest tractive effort of 13,411 lb. Note the block plate number in the lower left corner.
