| CP 8716 passes some old ties from the original SOO Line right of way, which can barely been seen in the weeds on the far right. the lead engine is just feet away from the junction point. The stretch of track between Hoffman and Barrett we know it today is actualy the 3rd such alignment between the two towns. This is just west of the Pomme De Terre River crossing, the original river bridge is still there, but just barely. |
