ATSF 2472         
NORMAN OK September 1978 -- This undated photo shows Santa Fe CF7 2472 laying over in downtown Norman. It headed up the local from Nowers and will return to Nowers in the morning as the trailing unit. EMD built the unit as F7A 238L (s/n 9599in April 1950 and delivered it in blue with cream yellow trim. On Dec 31 1976 the Cleburne TX shops rebuilt it as a CF7 with a round roof and renumbered it ATSF 2472. It was acquired by General Electric in December 1984, sold to the Blue Mountain and Reading RR and renumbered BMRG 2472 in March 1985. After being sold to National Railway Equipment Co it was sold to IMC Fertilizer and renumbered IMC 204.
