Foamer squared...  Contributor's Pick!
Is what one W&I crew member called me! I couldnt possibility know why... All joaking aside though, one of the main reasons I collect horns is to preserve a piece of railroad history that is fast disappearing. Once a very common horn on this line, the Leslie S3K was once the standard horn of the Burlington Northern, but in this day and age of FRA horn regulations has been relegated to only being heard on the vehicle of one collector. At least the WIR #20 has a decent sounding Nathan P5, instead of the all too common Nathan K series horns now heard everywhere on UP and BNSF.
