Randy Curlin	General	This fllood severely weakened the trestles and SP received funding for repairs to begin extended Amtrak funded passenger service between Sacto and Bay Area. The funding was stopped and new SP vp from IC arrived to reduce excess capacity. This section was single tracked from 1991 to 1997. A tremendous bottle neck for freight and passenger trains. Both tracks were restored and upgraded with 2 track CTC (was spring switches and DTC blocks)	2/5/2025 12:33:02 PM
