| The eastbound SUNSET passes through the Berwick Bay lift bridge behind P30CH units 704 and 703. The big vertical lift span was installed in 1971 and eliminated the use of a swing span near the Berwick end of the bridge, partially visible on the left. The new centrally-located channel opening greatly reduced the frequency of vessels hitting the bridge. |
