L&N 2331
Back when there were a lot of railroad tracks between the French Quarter and the Mississippi River, repowered L&N Alco switcher 2331 heads upriver past Jackson Square and St. Louis Cathedral. Besides getting an EMD prive mover, the battery box has been relocated from under the frame -- between the air tanks -- to on top of the frame -- in front of the cab.
