| This lift bridge over the Black River at Jonesville, Louisiana had been built for the Louisiana & Arkansas Railway and was subsequently used by the first Louisiana Midland short line, the Illinois Central, the Illinois Central Gulf and the second Louisiana Midland short line before rail service ended in the 1980's. It was subsequently removed. |
