UP GP9 261 runs slowly through the Salt Lake City shop area in June 1973. It's hood displays additional ventilation holes put in it by the UP from when it was one of the first two UP GP9s equipped with experimental AiResearch turbochargers in 1956. It was subsequently rebuilt to a normal, non-turbocharged configuration but the hood openings remained until retired in 1979.
