Old right of way of possibly a logging railroad found deep in the Allegheny National Forest         
The tracks were starting to be overgrown from the sides. The only proof of tracks were the mounds where the crossties were originally.

Kevin Ashbaugh General Sackett doesn't quite match in location of the main of the former Tionesta Valley RR, but this may be a branch line of it. The TVR was abandoned and scrapped +/- 1943. The line ran from Cherry Grove to Loleta, interchanging with Pennsy and Sheffield&Tionesta in Sheffield, B&O at Sheffield Jct., and the ?Marienville RR-MVRR? just south of Loleta. 4/2/2009 9:02:43 AM
