Jerry LaBoda General Built by Pullman? in 19?? as baggage club car. Rebuilt 1953 by Lehigh Valley as LV 1000 LEHIGH VALLEY. 48 seat diner? Acquired by LIRR in August 1961. Briefly numbered 2005 before being assigned number 2037. Kitchen removed when rebuilt to full parlor car in May 1970, using parts from 2011, and redesignated LIRR 2037 ONTEORA (2nd). 8/29/2008 7:42:40 PM
Kyle Yunker General This car was recently sold to the Gennese & Wyoming RR for $200. The person who owned it was persuaded because some council member said that it looked bad. Amazing what one opinion can do. This car is a piece of history if you ask me. I'm born and raised and still live in Marietta so Im very attached to this passenger car. 12/16/2008 11:26:03 PM
