Pete's Yard
These trucks were to be placed under an old combine car once used on the Butler County Railroad and served Broseley as their post office for years, the car was to be restored and these truck placed under it, in the summer of 1999, the car was sitting in the woods just west of the town on cinder blocks waiting for restoration. Somebody came by and set it on fire. These trucks belong to Joe Falvey, one of my dear friends and fellow museum volunteer. They now sit in Jerry "Pete" Colter's yard, he digs most of the local graves and does cemetery work and is a member and was one of the founding members of the Missouri Southern Railroad Club, the front runner that paved the way for the Mo-Ark Regional Railroad Museum Inc. that still survives today in Poplar Bluff in the former Frisco Depot.
