Chehalis Western in the Tideflats  Contributor's Pick!       
Chealis Western was one of Weyerhauser's stable of lumber roads, and was an older name resurected to operate former Milwaukee Road trackage from 1980 to 1992. Here two of their four GP38-2s prepare to run an empty lumber train out of Tacoma's tideflats area. With the shutdown of the Washington operation both units would move to company road De Queen & Eastern.
