MKT 4-6-2 #380 - Missouri-Kansas-Texas |
Description: |
Fairly nice older b&w photo (possibly a reprint) by an unknown photographer of Missouri-Kansas-Texas 4-6-2 Pacific #380 built by Alco-Schenectady in 1915. Specs - H-3a class, 73" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x28" cylinders, engine weight of 272,000 lb, tractive effort of 40,753 lb. I could not find the serial number for this loco. No date was given but with Mike Woodruff's help (see comment below), it would appear to be 1920 or earlier. |
